Well, most of the enemies we fought were monsters or bandits or whatnot. So it was easy to assert myself against them, and it was fun to trash talk them in battles I knew we were gonna win. Then it just became habit.

It has actually done wonders for my ego and self-esteem. Other things influenced that as well, sure, but trash-talking bad guys certainly didn’t hurt.

One might say you’ve gotten a little too good at it based on some of your comebacks.

Asbel seems like quite the worthy knight. He has an admirable devotion to the protection and safety of others. He’s also plenty strong and capable of being a great knight.

There doesn’t seem to be quite as much call for knights lately, but nonetheless if there were a need, and he were willing, I’d recruit Asbel.

But the penthouse is still a lot nicer than Fern. It’s fancy and full of good food and comfy couches and stuff.

Natalia is a strong young woman who will do amazing things for her country. She loves them, and they love her. It took me a long time to see that, but I definitely do now.

As for whether I see her as my fiancee or not…that’s hard to say. She was never truly my fiancee to begin with, she was Asch’s. And it’s clear that she still dearly loves him.

I see her as a vital comrade, a great princess to her people, and a dear friend. And I’ll always be there if she needs me.
